Black Bear Trailer Review Robo Cop

I'm nerding out right now, finally a movie remake I really wanted to see executed, I'm  done seeing marvel remakes of Batman, Superman, Spiderman etc... don't get me wrong i love my Marvel and DC Movies, but seeing them over and over again in constant rotation the movies loses there luster and excitement. So remaking a movie that's over 10 years old with today technology and graphic advancement would bring a new flavor to the Robocop movie.but to make this movie really successful we need a great director and Jose Padilha decided to take on the project. So i did some research on the director and found that Jose studied business studies, politics and economics in Rio de Janeiro, followed by English literature and international politics in Oxford. Movie wise he directed Bus 174, Brazil's Vanishing Cowboys, Elite Squad and Elite Squad: The Enemy Within

RoboCop is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by José Padilha. It is a remake of the 1987 film of the same name and a reboot of the RoboCop film series, making it the fourth installment of the franchise. The film stars Joel Kinnaman in the title role.

Screen Gems first announced a remake in 2005, but it was halted one year later. Darren Aronofsky and David Self were originally assigned to direct and write the film, respectively, for a tentative 2010 release. The film was delayed numerous times, and Padilha signed on in 2011. In March 2012, MGM announced an August 2013 release, but that was then changed to February 2014. The principal characters were cast from March to July 2012. Principal photography began in September 2012 in Toronto and Vancouver, with additional locations in Hamilton, and Detroit in the United States. The film is scheduled for release in both the United States and United Kingdom on February 7, 2014.

In 2028 Detroit, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop - is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.
